IFC


Always on, slightly off. That is the motto of the indie cable channel known for airing cult comedies.  

I created exciting social assets coming from a fan’s perspective as part of the IFC team. This meant tapping into memes, current trend mindsets, and thinking like a quirky film professor. Power to the weirdos!

The core IFC team also was in charge of branding and creating content for various IFC shows like Portlandia, Documentary Now! Sherman’s Showcase, Stan Against Evil, and Brockmire. Each respective show handle recieved its own look and feel. 

We won a Shorty Award for outstanding community engagement and social content for the work on the account. 

Halfway through my time on the account, IFC rebranded. While the core concept of the brand stayed the same, the visual language was updated.
