Carl Sagan Trifecta

Publication design for a series of coffee table books presented as a singular branded identity.

As a person who loves space and humanism in general, I took the liberty to associate three of Sagan’s most known books and attribute each to a NASA space mission he was involved in.

  • Pale Blue Dot is inspired by the Voyager Missions

  • Cosmos is inspired by the Viking Rover

  • Broca’s Brain is inspired by the Galileo Mission

Role: creative strategy, research, design, illustration

≋The Voyager spacecraft is the first item to make it to interstellar space, equipped with the golden
disc it is the farthest humans have ever been≋

≋Viking 1 and 2 were the first non-manned probes to send us clear photos of Martian terrain≋

≋Galileo revealed the secrets of Jupiter’s moons≋

≋It was essential that the 3 books worked together as a set≋
